Quicksilver 14-816629Q Mercury MerCruiser Propeller Tab Washer

The Quicksilver 14-816629Q Propeller Tab Washer is designed for select Mercury and Mariner outboards, as well as MerCruiser Alpha One and Bravo One sterndrives using a bronze drive sleeve adapter. This tab washer installs on the prop shaft ahead of the propeller nut to help secure the propeller assembly.

After the propeller nut is tightened to the correct specification, the locking tabs are pressed down to help keep the nut in place. Do not operate your engine or drive without the propeller nut properly installed and secured with the correct tab washer.

Installation Note: Refer to your owner’s manual for the correct Flo-Torq hub, thrust washer, propeller nut, and tab washer for your engine or drive. To help with future propeller removal, apply Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101 to the prop shaft splines as directed by the manufacturer.

Fitment Note: Propeller hardware should be verified by engine or drive model, horsepower, prop shaft size, hub system, drive sleeve adapter, and existing propeller hardware before ordering.
