The Mercury Bravo 3 Diesel propeller is the best-performing propeller for diesel engines matched to Bravo III drives. This propeller is designed for use on heavier boats with high-horsepower diesel engines. Features an enhanced blade cup for improved planing performance and fuel economy. The Bravo Three Diesel propellers combine a large-diameter, four-blade front propeller with a smaller diameter three-blade rear propeller to provide unmatched acceleration, tracking, and handling with diesel applications.

Bravo Three Propeller Installation

Apply an ample amount of the lubricants to the inner and outer propeller shafts
Slide the forward thrust hub onto the outer propeller shaft with the tapered hub end facing aft
Align the splines of the propeller with the shaft splines and slide the propeller into place on the outer shaft
Secure with the forward propeller nut and tighten to the specified torque
Slide the aft thrust hub onto the inner propeller shaft with the tapered hub end facing aft
Align the splines of the propeller with the shaft splines ans slide the propeller into place on the inner shaft
Secure the aft propeller nut and tighten to the specified torque
