Mercury 96148T8 Water Pump Upper Repair Kit
The Mercury 96148T8 Water Pump Upper Repair Kit is designed for select Mercury and Mariner outboards and MerCruiser sterndrives with short-vane impellers. This kit helps repair and maintain the upper water pump assembly to keep cooling water flowing properly and support reliable engine operation.
This repair kit fits Mercury and Mariner 4-cylinder 65 HP through V6 outboards with short-vane impellers. It also fits MerCruiser I, R, MR, and Alpha drives with serial numbers 2495186 through 0D469858.
The kit includes the plastic pump housing assembly, impeller, face plate, gaskets, drive key or pin, water tube guide sleeve, O-rings, and gear lube fill and vent screw seals. The base plate is not included.
