Quicksilver 35-858004Q High-Efficiency Oil Filter
The Quicksilver High-Efficiency Oil Filter is constructed of the highest quality materials and is made specially for marine applications. High-performance synthetic media removes over 97% of all oil contaminants versus 78& for conventional paper element filters. This oil filter also features a metal shell that is over 50% thicker than conventional filters with a durable paint finish to resist corrosion even in saltwater environments.

Installation Instructions:
- Unscrew old filter and clean mounting base. Be sure old gasket is removed from the mounting base.
- Apply a thin coat of oil to filter gasket. Make sure gasket is seat properly in base of filter.
- Screw on until gasket contacts base and tighten two-thirds to one turn.
- Use an acceptable filter wrench, if necessary; do not exceed one turn.
- Refill crankcase; run engine and check for leaks.
- Check oil level.
Change your oil filter after every 50 hours of normal use. See your engine service and maintenance manual for further details.
