The Mercury 97-888756K01 Aluminum Anode Kit is a complete replacement anode kit for 1991 and newer MerCruiser Alpha One Gen II sterndrives with serial number 0D469829 and up. This kit replaces the factory-installed anodes found on the transom and drive unit to help protect against galvanic corrosion.
Aluminum anodes are designed for use in both freshwater and saltwater applications. Inspecting and replacing worn anodes as part of routine maintenance helps protect your sterndrive and supports long-term performance.
