Loctite M5923 Gasket Dressing is a trusted gasket sealant and dressing recommended by BRP for use with Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines. Designed for close-fitting parts, this gasket coating helps create a pressure-resistant, leakproof seal on gaskets, machined surfaces, and screw thread connections.

Applied as a liquid, Loctite M5923 quickly changes to a paste-like consistency within seconds. It is resistant to high-octane gasoline, grease, lubricating oils, hot and cold water, antifreeze, glycerine, fuel oil, kerosene, butane, and similar fluids. With temperature resistance up to 400°F, it is a dependable choice for marine engine gasket sealing and general mechanical applications.

Directions for Use:

Use the brush applicator to apply a thin, even coat to each surface. Allow the coating to air-dry for a few minutes before fastening the parts into position. If thinning is necessary, add 188 proof denatured alcohol.
