Anchorlift Galvanized Anchor Rode Kit

The Anchorlift Rode Kit features 24 plait double braided rope with hot dipped galvanized chain. This engineered rode kit has been designed for the discerning boater specifically for use with all windlass applications. The Anchorlift exclusive inner beaded core helps the rope keep its round shape and provide excellent grip to help avoid slippage in the gypsy. A machine splice between the rope and chain allows for a smooth run through the bow roller and gypsy. The double braided rope features a black and white design to help hide dirt and grime. Maintenance:

Over time mud, salt, and sand will penetrate the rope and make it stiff. Depending on use, every 3 to 6 months you should rinse the rope in fresh water to help remove any of these contaminates. For the rope/chain rode to remain pliable and soft it is important to do the following maintenance.

1. Fill suitable container with fresh water
2. Ensure that all rope is under water and completely soaked
3. Move the rope around every so often so all contaminants fall to the bottom of the container
• Move the rode around 3-4 hours during a 1-2 hour period
4. Remove rode kit and place on a clean dry surface
5. Fill a clean container with fabric softener and fresh water in a 1part softener 3 parts water ratio
6. Lay the rope in container and let sit for approximately 6 hours.
7. Remove rode kit and rinse with fresh water
