The Richie Navigator Compass features a 4-1/2" PowerDamp Flat Card Dial. Flat-Card Dials allow you to look down on the compass to see the course heading. Large numerals make this compass easy to read. The PowerDamp system eliminates spinning and dial jumping at high speeds, ensuring an accurate reading even in rough conditions. The flush mount is ideal for today's compact dashboard designs. Ritchie recommends mounting your compass directly in front of the helm, as well as directly above the centerline of the hull. All Ritchie compasses use a Hardened Steel Pivot and Triple Cup Sapphire Jewel Movement. They are microscopically matched to provide smooth dial operation and fast lock-on, even under severe conditions.
